Odd’s Mini-Cine Picture Show – the Best of the Northwest (a FutureEverything Showcase Special)
The Picture Show is a monthly short film night at Odd Bar, located in the Northern Quarter, the heart of Manchester’s creative scene. The Picture Show is proud to present an evening of short film fun, in collaboration with FutureEverything Showcase 2011. For this very special event they will be showcasing the oddest short film and moving image work from around the North West. They will be screening mini-masterpieces from students, artists and filmmakers, all from your regional doorstep. The only rule is – all work must be a little bit ODD.
Come along for an evening of short film frenzy, free popcorn and visual treats.

In this film I am exploring the idea of anxiety and how a biologic response designed to protect us to can actually cause us harm when faced with the complicated dangers of the modern day. This piece is a story of someone falling apart under perceived dangers, until the fear he feels actually appears to become real, finally forcing him to confront the problem.
